Watch: Trapped pony rescued from septic tank
An animal hospital has released footage of firefighters rescuing a pony that was stuck in a septic tank.
Fire crews, including an animal rescue unit from Hatfield in Hertfordshire, pulled 18-year-old Geisha to safety in Thaxted, Essex.
A farmer used their telehandler to help with the rescue, which happened on 28 January.
Tom Golding, a crew commander in Hertfordshire, said animal rescues were "more common than you'd think".
After her ordeal, the 18-year-old pony was reunited with her foal.
The Acorns Equine Clinic, based in Pleshey near Chelmford, released the video.
