'Prolific' county lines drug dealer jailed
Wiltshire PoliceA county lines dealer who supplied Class A drugs across Wiltshire has been jailed.
Richard Morgan, 33, of Church Road, Bath, was arrested on 10 September, on suspicion of supplying crack cocaine and heroin between April and September 2025.
No drugs were found during a search in Church Road, but phones were seized which connected Morgan to the so-called 'Professor' line which sent bulk text messages from Bath and west Wiltshire advertising the drugs.
He was charged with being concerned in the supply of the Class A drugs and was jailed for seven years at Swindon Crown Court on Wednesday after a trial.
PC Guy, of Wiltshire Police, said: "Morgan is a classic county lines drug dealer, the likes of which cause significant harm across our communities.
"He has previously been jailed for drug dealing but clearly didn't learn his lesson because upon his release, he started dealing again.
"Through our enquiries into the Professor line, which was attempting to disguise the drugs as t-shirts, we were able to connect it to Morgan."
"I'd like to thank the Met's Op Orochi team and the South West Regional Organised Crime Unit for their support with the investigation, which has seen a prolific drug dealer put behind bars," added PC Guy.
