Drug dealers jailed for 'underworld' operation
Wiltshire PoliceThree drug dealers operating in the criminal "underworld" have been jailed for their role in supplying heroin and crack cocaine.
Supplier Jamie Milligan, 34, of Felstead Street in Hackney, was sentenced to nine years in prison at Swindon Crown Court on Thursday.
Lewis Turner, 33, of Castle View Road in Chiseldon, Swindon, was identified as a key customer of Milligan's and was jailed for five years and three months on 22 January.
Liam Meager, 27, of Beech Avenue, Pinehurst, was found to have been controlling the 'T' line, police said, supplying heroin and crack cocaine at street level. He was jailed alongside Turner for four years and six months.
Wiltshire Police said the men were identified as part of an investigation by the Serious and Organised Crime Unit (SOCU) following a previous conviction.
The investigation began through community intelligence which identified that Kyum Raham - who was jailed last month - was trafficking teenagers and using them to supply crack cocaine and heroin in the Penhill and Pinehurst estates.
Raham was arrested and evidence was recovered that he was buying his drugs from a contact stored in his phone as 'MILLS' - a pseudonym police identified as Milligan, police said.
On 15 September 2025, officers witnessed him receive a designer clothing bag which was delivered via taxi to an address in Elmina Road.
Police arrested Milligan the following day and searched the address, where they uncovered the bag hidden under the stairs containing 1kg of cocaine. They also found £23,000 hidden in a bedroom at an associated address.
Officers established Turner had given Milligan the designer bag - although he was in fact "returning it as his customers were not happy with the quality", police said.
Turner was subsequently arrested and charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin, cocaine and possession of an offensive weapon.
Additional evidence came to light regarding the involvement of Meager, who had been working alongside Raham. He was charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine.
All three pleaded guilty to the drugs offences.
'Unravel an operation'
Det Sgt Hilton from SOCU said: "Heroin and crack cocaine are drugs that cause significant damage to both the end users, their families and the communities around them.
"Milligan and Turner are very well known in the Swindon 'underworld', and these lengthy sentences should send a message to those who they worked with, or operating at a similar level, that it only takes one weak link in the chain to unravel the entire operation.
"We have identified many others who were working with them both and I look forward to dealing with them soon.
"We will endeavour to ensure similar outcomes for anyone that believes they can go untouched whilst either using children to do their dirty work, or whilst bringing drugs into the town to supply the local dealers.
