It has been a busy week in Peterborough despite the wet weather. Pictures captured by locals and journalists across the city highlight some of the key events that took place, including a seal spotting in the River Nene.

The photographs were taken between 10 and 14 February.

Worshippers at Peterborough's Bharat Hindu Samaj temple said they were "heartbroken" to potentially be facing eviction after their second bid to buy the site was unsuccessful. The temple caters for nearly 14,000 people and was established in the city's New England Complex in 1986
