Two children have been arrested over a hay bale fire which reportedly caused £10,000 of damage.

The blaze, which began at 11:00 BST on Thursday, destroyed 200 hay bales and damaged a sheep feeder near to the Quarry Lane Roundabout between Marske-by-the-Sea and Saltburn in Teesside.

The boys, aged 11 and 12, were arrested in woodland near Saltburn before being questioned on suspicion of arson.
