A stretch of the M27 eastbound has reopened following a crash involving two lorries.

The crash happened shortly before 05:15 BST near Junction 5 for Southampton Airport and Eastleigh. Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said no one was seriously injured.

The motorway was closed until about 09:00 while the lorries involved were recovered and a spillage across the lanes was treated and cleared.

National Highways urged drivers to allow extra time while the congestion of about six miles (9.6km) cleared.
