Ferry services have resumed on the Isle of Man linking passengers to and from Lancashire after rough weather disrupted sailings over the weekend.

The Sunday evening sailing to Heysham was cancelled along with its overnight return due to gale force winds over the Irish Sea.

The Manxman departed for Heysham earlier and no further disruptions were expected.

It comes after Sunday afternoon's sailing had been pushed back by 10 hours to avoid bad weather.
