Police searching for a man in connection with a murder investigation have made an arrest.

A woman is in a stable condition in hospital following an incident in Carmarthen Park, Carmarthenshire, on Thursday between 15:00 and 16:00 GMT.

Det Ch Supt Ross Evans, of Dyfed-Powys Police, thanked the community and media for assisting their investigation so far.
