New ice warning for Northern Ireland
PacemakerAn ice warning has been issued across part of Northern Ireland on Friday night with subzero temperatures forecast quite widely.
The Met Office alert for Antrim, Down, Londonderry, and Tyrone lasts from 20:00 GMT on Friday until 10:00 Saturday.
The organisation is warning that some wintry showers could fall to frozen ground, leading to ice in untreated areas.
It also expects a dusting of snow for some higher ground over 200m above sea level.

Temperatures overnight on Friday are expected to fall to around -4C widely inland, possibly a touch lower in some countryside areas.
The Department for Infrastructure said salting of roads on the scheduled network is planned, starting on Friday afternoon and continuing to Saturday morning.
Road users are advised to exercise caution when travelling, particularly when driving on untreated roads.

A similar warning is in place across the Republic of Ireland, where Met Éireann is warning of low temperatures across the country.
It warns of frost and icy patches forming as temperature widely fall several degrees below freezing.
