Man dies in County Down crash

A man has died following a two-vehicle collision in Hillsborough, County Down.

It happened at about 07:15 GMT on Thursday on the Ballynahinch Road.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said the man died at the scene, a second man was taken to hospital with his injuries.

The road remains closed with diversions in place.

Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the collision and have appealed for information.
