Man appears in court on Keighley murder charge

HandoutA man has appeared in court accused of murdering a father-of-two who was attacked in Keighley.
Suhail Choudry, 35, died in hospital on 11 February, three days after he was found injured in Flasby Street after being chased and attacked by a group of men armed with sticks and bats.
Rashid Hussain, 41, of Redcliffe Street, Keighley, has been charged with murder, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and violent disorder.
At a hearing at Bradford Crown Court on Monday, Hussain was remanded in custody, with a plea and trial preparation hearing due to be held on 19 March and a provisional trial date fixed for 17 August.
