Suhail Choudry died on Wednesday, days after the alleged attack in Keighley

The pregnant wife of a "proud" father who died three days after he was attacked has paid tribute to her husband.

Suhail Choudry, 35, died in hospital on Wednesday after he was found with serious head injuries in Flasby Street, Keighley, shortly after 03:14 GMT on Sunday.

The father-of-two was expecting a third child with his wife Zara, who said he was a "father before anything".

She said: "It was his proudest title and he was their world. Telling our children their daddy has passed away is something no mother should have to do, we will never find peace with the brutality in which he left us."

Four men have been arrested in connection with the attack.

Two men aged 27 and 30, who were arrested on suspicion of murder, and a man aged 33, who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, have all been released on police bail.

A 42-year-old man, who was arrested on suspicion of murder, remains in custody.

Paying tribute to her husband, Zara said: "Suhail deserves justice, not just for him but for his daughter, son and unborn child."

She added: "On the early morning of Suhail's attack when I received a phone call, I could never have imagined what the coming days would bring.

"I want to appeal today for any information, no matter how big or small, to please contact the police."
