Further arrests in Keighley murder inquiry

Detectives investigating the death of a man who was attacked in the street in Keighley have arrested three more people on suspicion of murder.

Suhail Choudry, 35, died in hospital on 11 February, three days after he was found injured in Flasby Street after being chased and attacked by a group of men armed with sticks and bats.

West Yorkshire Police said the three men aged 23, 26 and 27, had been arrested overnight at addresses in Malsis Road, Lister Street and Parson Street. It brings the total number of arrests in connection with Choudry's death to eight.

On Friday, Rashid Hussain, 41, of Redcliffe Street appeared at Bradford Magistrates Court charged with murder.

Hussain, who is also charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and violent disorder, was remanded in custody to appear at Bradford Crown Court on Monday.
