M1: All lanes reopen after crash between car and lorry

All lanes have reopened following a crash between a car and a lorry on the M1 in Derbyshire.

National Highways said the road was partially blocked southbound at junction 30 at Barlborough at 07:25 BST on Friday.

Drivers were warned of delays of up to 60 minutes and traffic was queuing back to junction 31.

Authorities said at 08:11 that the road had reopened and delays were "starting to ease".

M1 pothole blowout driver felt 'almighty bang'

Adrian Hargreaves says the impact "shuddered up" his spine after hitting the pothole on the M1 near Sheffield.

Police have appealed for any witnesses to the collision, which happened on Tuesday evening.

National Highways said the road had reopened after one lane was closed on the northbound carriageway.

The crash happened shortly before 11:00 GMT, National Highways say, and clean-up still ongoing.

Motorists faced lengthy delays on the M1 after a trailer carrying cattle overturned.
