The A14 is closed westbound after multi-vehicle crash

A six-vehicle crash on the A14 has led to the road being closed northbound, according to National Highways.

The collision has shut the carriageway and affected traffic between junction 59 at Trimley St Martin and junction 58 for Ipswich and the A12.

One driver suffered minor injuries in the accident, police said.

The road has been closed to allow for recovery of vehicles involved.

Traffic queues have built-up as a result, and diversions are in place, said National Highways.
