Police warn drivers of long delays on the A14 following a crash

The A14 has been shut in both directions in Suffolk following a crash involving two lorries.

The road has been closed near Ipswich between junction 52 at Claydon and junction 55 for the A12 at the Copdock Interchange.

National Highways said emergency services including the air ambulance were at the scene.

Suffolk Police said further restrictions might be required and delays were expected on surrounding roads.

The closure could affect traffic leaving the Ipswich Town v Hull City match on Tuesday evening.
