Motorcyclist dead and passenger seriously injured
BBCA motorcyclist has died and a woman has suffered life-threatening injuries following a crash between a car and a motorbike in Worcestershire.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Tunnel Hill in Worcester at 17:47 GMT on Thursday.
A spokeswoman said crews found the man,who was in his 40s,in a critical condition and despite their best efforts he was confirmed dead at the scene.
She added: "A woman, the passenger on the motorbike, was found in a life-threatening condition. Crews immediately began administering specialist trauma care, before she was conveyed to [hospital] under emergency driving conditions."
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said no arrests had been made at this stage, but the force was appealing for witnesses to come forward.
They also confirmed that there had been three people in the car at the time of the collision and all were uninjured.
