Dental practice moved again amid hospital works
PA MediaA dental practice on the Isle of Man has been moved again after the northern hospital it was based in was temporarily closed.
In December, Smile Dental Practice was moved to Hillside Dental Practice during the temporary closure of Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital (RDCH) after a pest control issue was found in the building's roof.
But Manx Care has said the service has had to be re-located again to the Central Community Health Centre in Douglas, within the Community Dental Service.
Although disruption at RDCH was expected to last until April at the latest, some services at its Martin Ward have recently been reinstated.
Manx Care has not confirmed for how long Smile would be based at the Central Community Health Centre.
The health body requested that patients continue to contact the practice to manage appointments and enquiries.
A shuttle bus service will run from Ramsey to the Central Community Health Centre in Douglas on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays to help patients get there.
