Snowdrops to raise funds for bereavement charity
BBCAn event is being held at a nature reserve to raise funds for a child bereavement charity.
Participants can make a donation and plant a snowdrop at Whisby Nature Park on 22 February, between 12:00 and 15:00 GMT, to remember a loved one.
The money raised at the event will go to support Child Bereavement UK.
After the planting, people can explore the site on Moor Lane, Thorpe on the Hill, which is run by Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust.
The snowdrops have been donated by Pennells Garden Centre in South Hykeham.
Councillor Chris Goldson, chair of North Kesteven District Council, said the planting would create "poignant displays".
"It is an honour to partner with Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust again this year to be able to provide this time and space for reflection and remembrance," he added.
