The Good Grief Fair will take place at Wellingborough Library in Northamptonshire on Thursday.
North Northamptonshire Council said it wanted it to be "a safe, welcoming space for open conversations about grief and bereavement" for those attending.
Gregory Wilcox, the executive member for communities at North Northamptonshire Council, said: "Grief touches every one of us at some point in our lives, yet it is often something we struggle with."
The event, which will run from 10:00 GMT to 15:00, will feature local support services, charities and faith groups that work in and around Wellingborough.
Among those there will be Northamptonshire Carers, the arts organisation Made with Many, and charities Kelly's Heroes and the Seddon Legacy Project.
There will also be guest speakers and an "open question and answer session".
The fair will also include a creative installation, including a chalk board for reflections and poetry readings.
Wilcox said: "The Good Grief Fair offers a gentle space where people can know they are not alone."
