A driver has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving over a crash which saw a car with three children inside overturned.

Cumbria Police said the woman, who was also arrested on suspicion of child neglect, registered at more than double the legal limit for alcohol during a breath test.

No-one was seriously injured in the crash, which happened at about 16:45 GMT on Sunday at Hall Brow, Workington.

Two other vehicles were involved, police said, and no further arrests were made.

The force said the arrest was made during Operation Limit - an operation targeting dangerous drivers.

During last year's campaign, more than 200 drivers were arrested for drug or drink-driving.
