There was snow overnight in parts of the East of England and Northamptonshire.

It came after the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for snow and ice across Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire.

The warning is in place until 11:00 GMT on Tuesday.

Due to the low temperatures, amber cold health alerts from the UK's Health Security Agency (UKHSA) were issued for the whole of England and are in place until 9 January.
