Snow has fallen and settled across the East of England, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.

It came after the Met Office issued yellow weather warnings for snow and ice in Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Essex and Northamptonshire on Friday, Norfolk on Saturday and Monday, and Suffolk on Monday.

Due to the low temperatures, amber cold health alerts from the UK's Health Security Agency (UKHSA) were issued for the whole of England and are in place until 9 January.

A number of Parkruns across the region were also cancelled due to bad weather and reports of some courses being unsafe.
