Several coastal roads on the Isle of Man have reopened after being closed due to large waves crashing ashore, however a further warning has been issued for more disruption overnight.

Laxey Promenade along with both the Mooragh and Queen's promenades in Ramsey were closed at high tide, with Douglas Promenade Walkway also affected by the conditions.

Although those closures have have been lifted, a further warning for coastal overtopping between 23:00 and 02:00 GMT on Wednesday has been issued.

Ronaldsway Met Office also warned that rain would turn to snowfall in areas above 700ft (213m), leading to slight accumulations on the hills until 07:00 on Wednesday.
