Two further arrests in Keighley murder probe

Two more people have been arrested by police investigating the murder of Suhail Choudry in Keighley.

Father-of-two Choudry died on 11 February three days after he was seriously assaulted.

Five people have already been charged in relation to the incident.

On Monday, West Yorkshire Police said a 42-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of murder, while a 32-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and a drug offence.

Both remain in custody, officers said.

A 27-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman who were arrested on Saturday afternoon on suspicion of assisting an offender have been bailed pending further inquiries.

Majid Hussain, 42, of Devonshire Street in Keighley, was due to appear at Bradford Magistrates' Court on Monday charged with murder, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and violent disorder.

Rashid Hussain, 41, Mohammed Aliyan Khan, 23, Hakeem Gulzar, 27, and Faisal Khan, 26, all from Keighley, have also all been charged with murder, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and violent disorder.
