Fifth murder charge over death of father-of-two

A fifth man has been charged with murdering a father-of-two who was attacked in Keighley.

Suhail Choudry, 35, died in hospital on 11 February, three days after he was found injured in Flasby Street. He was reportedly chased and attacked by a group of men armed with sticks and bats, police said.

Majid Hussain, 42, of Devonshire Street, Keighley, has been charged with murder, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and violent disorder.

West Yorkshire Police said he was due to appear before Bradford Magistrates' Court on Monday.

The force said a 27-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman were also arrested on Saturday for assisting an offender in relation to the investigation.

Four men, Rashid Hussain, 41, Mohammed Aliyan Khan, 23, Hakeem Gulzar, 27, and Faisal Khan, 26, all from Keighley, have already been charged with murder, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and violent disorder.
