Parents-to-be invited to pregnancy events
Getty ImagesProspective parents are being invited to drop-in events aimed at helping them prepare for life with a new baby.
The Nest and Nurture events will provide information about healthy eating, safe sleeping and breast feeding for people in the second half of their pregnancy.
They will take place on the first Thursday of every month and will alternate between Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby and Scunthorpe General Hospital.
Natalie Jenkin, head of midwifery, said: "Wellbeing teams will also be at our events to help you and your partner look after yourselves and each other throughout your pregnancy and into those first few months of welcoming your baby into your lives."
Jenkin said there will be demonstrations on safer sleeping, as well as information on what to expect during labour, home births, and home safety for babies.
Midwives and maternity support workers will also be on hand to help with any questions, she added.
The events will take place between 5 February until 3 September from 19:00 and 20:30 GMT.
No booking is required and partners, friends or a family member are also welcome at the sessions.
