'Substance' reportedly thrown at man - police

British Transport Police (BTP) has responded to an incident in West Sussex.

It said officers were called to Crawley railway station just after 23:20 GMT on Saturday to reports of a "substance" being thrown at a man in his 30s.

The man was taken to hospital, according to the force.

BTP did not specify what the substance exactly was.

It added that officers were keen to speak to anyone who might have seen the incident or has information.
