Armed officers responded to reports of a stabbing in New Parade, Worthing

A 30-year-old man has been taken to hospital after reports of a stabbing, police say.

Sussex Police said it was investigating following an incident at about 15:20 GMT on Thursday in New Parade, Worthing.

A police spokesperson said officers remained at the scene but no arrests had been made. Armed officers also responded to the incident.
