Rail delays after level crossing crash

Train services have been disrupted after a collision at a level crossing in Cambridgeshire.

Travel information provider Inrix said the crash, involving a train and a car, happened at about 10:15 GMT on Tuesday on the A1123 Newmarket Road at Stretham, near Ely.

Rail operator Great Northern said all lines between Cambridge North and Ely are blocked.

It added that trains will be delayed and altered as a result.
