A light dusting of snow created some stunning scenery across the south of England.

Southampton, Shanklin, Sherborne, Poole and Newbury were some of the areas left under a sprinkling of the white stuff.

The Met Office has warned of disruption to travel on Monday morning as many people return to work and school following the Christmas break with a yellow warning in place for many areas.
