Mobile phone giant's staff to move out of complex
GoogleA base used by the UK's large mobile phone operator will be closed before the end of the year, it has said.
Three staff are currently based at offices in Longwater Avenue in Green Park, Reading, but most of them will be moved to VodafoneThree's UK base in Newbury. A "small minority" will move to offices in London.
Vodafone UK and Three, which serves about 27 million customers, merged in May 2025.
Three was previously based in Reading and Maidenhead before its move to Green Park in 2021.
A VodafoneThree spokesperson said of the move, which is thought to affect hundreds of staff: "Our campus in Newbury provides a collaborative environment with enough space for our teams based in both Newbury and Green Park to come together in 2026.
"Over the next few months, we'll be making a significant investment in making it even better, ultimately creating an incredible new workspace.
"Our office at Green Park can't accommodate all our people and allow us to work together as one team. We will therefore be closing our Green Park office during 2026 with most colleagues moving to either Newbury or, for a small minority, our UK office in Southwark.
"We have comprehensive plans in place to support our colleagues through this transition."
