Inside the Frozen Zoo bringing animals back from extinction

A recent report by the UN warned that thanks to human pressures, one million species have been put at risk of extinction within decades. But researchers at San Diego Zoo are fighting back with what they call the Frozen Zoo. They began collecting tissue samples from rare animals in 1972. The team have been storing the cells in their cryobank in the hope that they can be used to protect and revive endangered species in the future.
