Scenery catches fire during Christmas circus show

Video captured the moment a small fire broke out on a circus stage at the end of a show.

Great Yarmouth Hippodrome said a pyrotechnic ignited scenery at the conclusion of its Christmas Spectacular on Saturday night.

Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service attended the building, on St George's Road, at 20:35 GMT but said the fire was extinguished before crews arrived. No injuries were reported.

In a post on Facebook, the venue said it had had completed a "thorough investigation" and confirmed its scheduled shows would continue as planned.
