Watch: Police arrest Steve Wright for murder

Footage has been released showing the moment serial killer Steve Wright was arrested in July 2021.

Siting in a room in prison, Wright listens as a Suffolk Police officer tells him he is being arrested on suspicion of the kidnap and murder of Victoria Hall, and the attempted kidnap of Emily Doherty, in September 1999.

Wright was already serving a whole life term at HMP Long Lartin, Worcestershire, for the murders of five women in and around Ipswich in 2006.

He was handed a 40-year sentence at the Old Bailey on Friday after he admitted all three charges.
