Torquay electric motorcycle rider seriously injured in crash
GoogleAn electric motorcycle rider has been seriously injured after crashing into a stationary car, police have said.
The rider, in his 20s, was travelling along Queensway in Torquay at about 23:35 GMT on Thursday when he hit the parked, unattended BMW, officers said.
The rider has taken to hospital and his next of kin have been informed, said the Devon and Cornwall force.
The road was closed for about two hours and police are seeking witnesses and CCTV footage of the crash.
