Cambridgeshire Police was called to the A47 near South Brink at about 11:30 BST

About 10 calves have been mooved along by police after they were seen taking a stroll by a main road in Cambridgeshire.

The young cows were seen wandering along the verge of the A47 near Wisbech on Thursday morning.

To keep them safe, police officers said they created a temporary fence by the road to direct the herd the "udder way".

A farmer was eventually able to return the animals safely to a nearby field.
