A man has been rescued after a large fire at a barn.

The blaze on Back Street in Lakenheath was reported at 23:20 GMT on Thursday with five fire crews tackling the flames throughout the night.

Suffolk Police said a man, believed to be in his 20s, suffered severe burns and was taken to hospital.

Firefighters said the barn's roof had collapsed and an exclusion zone was set up as the building became unsafe.
