Two teens bailed after baby seriously injured

A teenage boy and girl who were arrested after a baby was taken to hospital with serious injuries have been released on bail.

The baby was taken to hospital in the early hours of Monday morning, Humberside Police said. A scene guard remains in place at a property in Grimsby.

The force said it was still working to establish the circumstances surrounding the baby's injuries, which are currently being treated as unexplained.

Det Insp Gemma Walker urged the public not to speculate while the investigation continued. The force has asked anyone with information to get in touch.
