A driver and five passengers were taken to hospital after a serious crash.

Suffolk Police has launched an investigation after a silver Audi A5 coupe left the road at the A14 and Walton Avenue roundabout near the Port of Felixstowe.

Emergency services were called at 17:30 BST to the crash, which caused a fuel spillage and damaged a barrier, and closed the eastbound carriageway until 23:25.

Officers are appealing for anyone who saw the car driving on to the Dock Spur road or has footage of the crash to contact them.
