Motorists are facing long queues after an HGV hit the central reservation

A 45-year-old lorry driver has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after a crash closed parts of the A14 in Suffolk.

An HGV hit the central reservation near Bury St Edmunds between junction 44 and junction 45 eastbound at about 07:45 GMT.

The eastbound carriageway remains closed for recovery work.

At Woolpit, the westbound carriageway was closed following a separate crash.
