Double rainbow in Cockermouth, Cumbria

Winter is officially here - if you follow the meteorological calendar - and Weather Watchers across the north-east of England and Cumbria have been capturing sunny days.

In breaks between grey skies, snow and rain, the winter sun has been brightly peeking through.
