Pedestrian dies after collision with car

A man has died after being struck by a car in Stratford-upon-Avon, West Midlands Ambulance service said.

Emergency serves were called to Warwick Road before 20:00 GMT on Thursday where the pedestrian was found in a critical condition.

Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and a critical care car from the Midlands Air Ambulance went to the scene.

Paramedics carried out life support on the man, but he died at the scene.
