Crews tackle bitumen silo blaze at industrial unit
Essex Fire and RescueFour fire crews tackled a blaze in a grain silo storing bitumen at an industrial unit.
Essex County Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to an industrial unit fire near Station Approach in Harlow Mill at about 05:11 GMT.
It said due to a difficult water supply, crews set up a water shuttle and requested additional crews to help get water to the scene.
The fire was extinguished at 11:35.
The scene is said to be producing lots of smoke and the fire service is urging residents nearby to keep their windows and doors closed.
