A teenager arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 20-year-old man has been released on bail.

Mason Miller was stabbed during an altercation at Briar Hill Skate Park in Ringway, Northampton on 18 February at about 15:30 GMT, while a 17-year-old boy suffered life-threatening injuries.

A 17-year-old boy was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of violent disorder, possession of an offensive weapon and manslaughter by unlawful act.

Northamptonshire Police said he had since been released pending further inquiries.

Eleven people have so far been arrested and questioned as part of the investigation.

On Saturday, two 15-year-old boys and a 14-year-old boy appeared at Northampton Magistrates' Court charged with violent disorder and possession of an offensive weapon, and were granted conditional bail.

Detectives have renewed an appeal for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward.

In a statement, police said: "Any little detail may help piece together what happened around the time of the attack."
