Teenager dies three weeks after crash

Police are appealing for witnesses following the death of an 18-year-old after she was hit by a car.

The teenager had been walking on Dracaena Avenue in Falmouth at 07:50 GMT on 21 January.

Devon and Cornwall Police said she had been taken to hospital where she died on 11 February, three weeks after the crash.

They said her family were aware and being supported by officers and asked anyone with information or dashcam footage related to the collision to come forward.
