Cyclist dies after collision with motor scooter

A cyclist has died after being involved in a crash with a motor scooter, police have said.

Devon and Cornwall Police said the collision took place about 19:10 on 28 January on Mayfield Road in Falmouth.

The force said the cyclist, a man in his 70s, was taken to hospital by the air ambulance but died in hospital on Monday.

Police said his next of kin had been informed and have appealed for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the incident to contact them.
