Livi Deane said taking part in the show was "intense"

A former contestant from BBC One's The Traitors says the current traitors have "done an incredible job".

Livi Deane, a 27-year-old beautician and model from Horsham, told BBC Radio Sussex: "It's crazy how many times they've been suspected and they've just got away with it."

Deane, who was on season three of the show, said she was sad to see crime writer Harriet banished from the current season, adding that she had been "amazing and was cracking it".

"You've got to keep your cards close to your chest," she added.

Deane said watching the current guests of Ardross Castle had brought back both good and bad memories.

She reflected on how "intense" taking part in the show was and how only a "minuscule amount" of what was filmed actually made it onto the show.

Despite the stress and filming for up to 16 hours a day, Deane described her time in the castle as an "amazing experience."

The Traitors follows 22 contestants as they try to find the traitors among them who kill off players in the middle of the night in an attempt to win a cash prize of up to £120,000.
