The Traitors final to be shown on the big screen
BBC/Studio Lambert/Euan CherryFans of TV show The Traitors will be able to enjoy next week's final on the big screen in Ipswich.
The latest series of the BBC show began on New Year's Day and sees contestants competing as Faithfuls attempting to uncover the hidden Traitors, who in turn secretly eliminate Faithfuls as they all vie for the cash prize.
The final will be broadcast next Friday, and a special big screening will take place at The Church music venue that evening.
Lee Walker, chief executive of Ipswich Central, the town's centre's Business Improvement District, said the setting was perfect.
"The Church is a unique setting, so bringing fans of the show together to watch [it] on a big screen here is a great way to enjoy the drama, suspense and intrigue," he said.
A similar event was held last year for the series final, which saw about 50 attend to watch the winner crowned.
Luke Deal/BBCThe penultimate episode will be screened at 18:00 GMT before the final begins at 20:30 GMT.
Joe Bailey, chief executive of Brighten the Corners, which manages the venue, said: "We're delighted to again be hosting this free event at The Church for people to come and enjoy The Traitors 2026 series penultimate and final episodes, so come along with friends and family, grab a drink at the bar and watch The Traitors final together with fellow fans."
The screening is free to enjoy and open to people aged 14 and over, although those aged 14-17 need to be accompanied by an adult over 18.
The Traitors continues on BBC One and iPlayer on 21 January.
