Homeowners in Horsham, West Sussex, who have decorated their houses for Christmas are being added to an online map.

The Horsham Christmas Lights Trail has been compiled through nominations by local people.

The interactive guide is being run by a local estate agency.

Owner Hayley Georgiou said she decided to do it because "we thought it would be really fun to get the community involved".

She told BBC Radio Sussex: "The people of Horsham always make such a good special effort at Christmas to make their houses look amazing.

"You'll see plenty of santas, blow up reindeers.

"There are a couple of really special charity displays, in Hurst Avenue and Cottingham Avenue."

The map can be found here.

"You can create your own trail, as long or as short as you want" said Ms Georgiou, "you can drive or there are clumps that are more residential and you can do those walking."
